I’m that Mom who serves ice cream for breakfast, in bed, during an early morning video-fest.
Why not? Hanging out in bed is my favorite part of the whole day. Let’s face it, for whom is it not? Juliet always wakes us up first and immediately wants to watch something. I’ve got a laptop in the bedroom now so lately she wants to watch Peep and the Big Wide World. This is an old favorite of hers and they feature a new video each day. It’s pretty good and the characters are very sweet. As with all things internet-related we can’t stop with just one website and get pulled into the endless stream of things to read, watch, hear and play. Naturally we get hungry and ice cream is the best chillaxing food so it’s universally requested. Comfy bed + ice cream + internet = happy kids and satisfied mama.
We take the saying, “eat dessert first” very seriously.
