Drive with us down the California coast! We just got home from visiting Santa Cruz and San Jose, visiting family and unschooling friends. I’ll get a post up about our trip soon- it was so fun!
On our way home, with about 7 hours to go, I felt a longing to share the beautiful drive so I started snapping photos out the window of our car. Here, in a little over two minutes, zip 400 miles from the rich agricultural fields of Salinas through the vineyards of Paso Robles, stop for lunch in picturesque San Luis Obispo, sail along the coastline near Santa Barbara into the traffic of LA and roll into darkness in Orange County around 7 pm. I ran out of light before we arrived home in San Diego County so maybe I’ll make up for that another time. Enjoy the trip!
